This is a multi-region day with a short Adelaide Hills section. The group meets at one of several central Adelaide pickup points between 8:45 and 9:05 am, then makes a quick city tour past North Terrace, the Museum, the Art Gallery and Victoria Square (Tarntanyangga).

The Adelaide Hills portion is a 10-minute stop at the Mount Lofty lookout, which the listing calls Adelaide's highest summit, followed by free time in Hahndorf. The itinerary gives over an hour and a half there and the summary says two hours. Lunch is at your own cost at one of the town's eateries, and the main street has boutique and gift shops for browsing.

The route to McLaren Vale runs through the Onkaparinga Hills, where you may spot kangaroos, koalas or emus. There are two structured tastings of about 45 minutes each: Kay Brothers, in a historic cellar door among vineyards, and a second cellar door that the listing names as Shingleback in the itinerary and Haselgrove Wines in its summary. At Shingleback a cheeseboard can be bought to go with the wine.

The last stop is Glenelg on the coast, for about 15 to 20 minutes. You can ride the bus back to Adelaide or leave the tour there, spend the evening by the beach and take the tram back to the city when you choose. Groups are capped at 18.
