Adelaide Hills Winery Tours (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent comparison site. We do not sell tours ourselves: every booking link sends you to Viator or GetYourGuide, which process the booking. This page explains what that means for your personal data.
Booking data is handled by the booking platform
Your name, payment details and contact information are collected by Viator or GetYourGuide when you book, under that company’s own privacy policy — not by this website. Each policy is linked in the footer of the platform’s own site, and in your booking confirmation email.
What this website collects
- Affiliate tracking. Our booking links carry an affiliate identifier so the platform can credit us with a commission if you book. The identifier is added when you click, and the platform may set its own cookies once you arrive on its site.
- GetYourGuide partner script. Pages on this site load a small script from GetYourGuide that renders availability calendars and records partner referrals. GetYourGuide may set cookies through it.
- Email. If you email us, we keep your address and message so we can reply.
We do not collect, store or process payment information, booking details, passport or ID numbers, or precise location data, and we run no analytics of our own.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Cookies may be set by GetYourGuide’s partner script and, after you click through, by Viator or GetYourGuide on their own sites. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the pages still work without them.
Third parties
- Viator (a Tripadvisor company) — processes bookings made through our Viator links. See the privacy policy linked on viator.com.
- GetYourGuide — processes bookings made through our GetYourGuide links and serves the partner script. Review their privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — our typefaces load from Google’s font service, which receives your IP address as part of the request. Review Google’s privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you (in practice, only email correspondence), and object to its processing.
- For booking data: contact the platform you booked with, using the details in your confirmation email.
- For email correspondence with us: write to info@adelaidehillswinerytours.com.
Data retention
Email correspondence is kept for up to two years, or until you ask us to delete it.
Children’s privacy
This website does not knowingly collect data from children under 16. Bookings must be made by adults.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
