How far the Adelaide Hills are from Adelaide

Not far at all. The Hills begin at the city’s eastern edge, and Stirling is about 15 km from the city. Hahndorf is about a 30-minute drive along the South Eastern Freeway, and Woodside, home to Melba’s and several cellar doors, is about 40 minutes out.
